The lavender tint uses colour theory — purple-violet neutralises yellow-orange tones on the colour wheel — to visually lift and brighten yellow or sallow skin on application, creating a cleaner, more transparent complexion appearance.

How it works: Lavender pigments have a purple-violet hue. When applied to yellow-toned skin, the violet pigment optically cancels the yellow by adding its complementary colour.
