Acnes Medicated Clear Lotion 180ml is a quasi-drug wipe-off toner for oily and acne-prone skin — designed to be applied with a cotton pad after cleansing to remove residual sebum, dead skin buildup, and surface debris while delivering antibacterial and anti-inflammatory medicated actives directly into the pore. It is one of Japan's most established OTC acne-prevention toners.

How it works: The cotton-pad wipe method physically removes the surface sebum and cell debris that the cleanser has loosened but not fully eliminated — then the medicated actives (IPMP + Glycyrrhizinate) deposit into the cleansed pore opening to address the bacterial environment. AHAs work between applications to prevent keratin buildup that would otherwise re-congest pores. The combination of mechanical removal + antibacterial + AHA addresses all three stages of acne formation.

The Clear Lotion (this product) is the standard version suited to oily and acne-prone skin of normal sebum intensity. The Powder Lotion additionally contains Zinc Oxide as a matte-finishing powder that absorbs sebum throughout the day — the recommended choice for very oily skin or those who need post-application shine control without a separate mattifying step.
