Silcot Uruuru Sponge Cotton Pads 40pcs are toner-delivery cotton pads for all skin types — engineered with Sponge Pulp fibre that releases rather than absorbs liquid. Standard cotton pads absorb the majority of toner applied to them before it reaches skin. Silcot's sponge structure stores toner and releases it onto skin on contact, using approximately half the product volume per application and delivering more active toner to the face.

How it works: Standard cotton fibres absorb most applied liquid and retain it even under compression. Sponge Pulp fibres have low internal absorption but release readily when compressed against skin — the mechanical action of pressing the pad transfers the stored toner onto the skin rather than holding it in the pad. The result is more toner delivered per pad with less product wasted.

Best use with premium Japanese toners: For affordable toners, standard cotton is sufficient. For premium toners (Hada Labo Premium, Elixir Advanced, Orbis U Dot, Sekkisei), the improved delivery ratio meaningfully extends bottle longevity and ensures more active ingredients reach skin per application.
