The name POA-TULU (ポアツル, meaning "pore-smooth") reflects the core result: visibly cleaner, tighter-looking pores after every use. Sold at Matsumotokiyoshi and Orbis-official channels, it is a powder-format wash designed to be used two to four times per week in place of your regular face wash, not daily.

Three mechanisms work in sequence on application. First, Triple Enzyme Complex (Protease + Papain + Lipase) dissolves the two components of blackhead plugs separately — protein-based debris and oxidised sebum — loosening the plug from inside the pore before rinsing. Second, Activated Charcoal enters the now-loosened pore and physically adsorbs the dissolved impurities with a high-surface-area negative charge, pulling them out during rinsing.
