Orbis Aquanist Lotion RM is a sensitive-skin toner from Orbis's Aquanist series, designed to break the cycle of dryness-triggered skin sensitivity that many people experience with seasonal changes or in dry environments. Launched in February 2024, it is built around 36 years of Orbis hydration research and is the result of combining the gentle sensitivity-care approach of Orbis's Aqua Force line with the moisture-density of the original Orbis Aqua line. The RM variant is the Rich Moist type — slightly thicker in texture, suited to normal through very dry skin.

The core technology is the Persistent Triple Amino Acid Complex: three amino acid compounds from different origins — fermented Polyglutamic Acid, plant-derived Ergothioneine, and microorganism-derived Ectoin — that each work at a different layer of the stratum corneum to pull, hold, and protect moisture simultaneously. Because amino acids are substances the body already recognises, they are not treated as foreign irritants and remain active in the skin longer than typical moisturising ingredients. The penetration enhancer AQ Installer (Ethoxydiglycol) carries these amino acids into the corners of the stratum corneum that conventional toners typically miss.

  1. After cleansing, pour an adequate amount into your palm or onto a cotton pad.
  2. Press gently over the entire face using light patting motions, working from the centre outward.
  3. Allow to absorb for 20–30 seconds before applying any serum or moisturiser.
